I like a song from Mike Posner called Move on in which he says “beginnings
always hide themselves in ends”. I believe it is a powerful message and a helpful
tool for us to begin somewhere. If we want to glow up, we firstly must decide
to. But how do we do that with our past breathing right behind our neck? We must decide. Decide to leave it there and
end it. We all got scars and bruises we hide and that’s okay. We just need to
learn to leave them somewhere and end the chapter as a new, brighter beginning
awaits for us. But it is easier said than done.
So how do you decide?
I would suggest you go and clear your mind with meditation or yoga (I
recommend yoga with Adriene) or maybe if you’re not into that kind of stuff just
go out to get some fresh air or sing your lungs out or listen to that sad song
and cry… Purify yourself.
After that I suggest you write down why do you want to change. Is it for your mental
or physical well-being? Is it truly for you? Write down a bunch of reasons and
put them on a visible spot to use as motivation.
That is the first step of glowing up. I hope you got some inspiration and
ideas and I congratulate you for putting yourself first and coming here for
this tips to improve your well-being.

Neža, thank you for being our first blogger. I'd also suggest that we all do virtual, or digital acts of kindness to maintain the connection and camaraderie of those who are self isolating. The SDG 3 Health and Well Being is paramount at the moment and we can all act to support one another. Check out https://bit.ly/39fWZTX. Begin by keeping social distance.
